SIA "Mate Lab” (hereinafter - the Company) is the controller of personal data provided by you, which ensures that personal data is processed in the Company in compliance with the personal data protection requirements applicable to data controllers. This Privacy Policy applies in cases where you provide us with your personal data through the websites https://matelab.pro or https://it.matelab.pro (hereinafter - the Website).
In this Privacy Policy, we describe how we handle your data when you use the Website. By using the Website, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with the rules set forth in this Privacy Policy.
Please note, that this Privacy Policy applies only to the Website. The Website may contain links to other websites, that are not operated or controlled by us. Such links do not imply endorsement or review of such third party websites.
This Privacy Policy is prepared in accordance with the following legal acts:
  1. in 2016 April 27 Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons in the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and which repeals Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter - GDPR );
  2. the Personal Data Processing Law of the Republic of Latvia (hereinafter - PDPL)
  3. By other applicable legal acts, as far as it relates to the processing of your personal data for the purposes set out in this Policy.

When processing personal data, the Company complies with the GDPR, PDPL, as well as the requirements established in other legal acts regulating the processing and protection of personal data.

We collect and use the following information:

Personal data is processed for the purposes of the Company's legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6, Paragraph 1, Clause f ), that is, in order to respond to requests, requests, etc. submitted by individuals.

We inform you that if you agree to the processing of Personal Data for the purposes of direct marketing, such Personal Data Processing by the Company includes the provision of offers, news about the services provided, information about ongoing events, promotions or other information, as well as asking for your opinion about the services provided both by e-mail and by phone (call and/or SMS).

We inform you that in order for us to provide you with the services specified in this Policy (as provided for in Chapter IV of this Policy), you must provide us with the specified Personal Data.

For the processing of personal data, the Company has the right to use various data processors who process data on behalf of the Company, e.g. courier services, companies providing payment collection services, companies providing cloud, server rental and related services that would store your personal data, as well as IT management companies, companies providing marketing services that may have access to your personal data, as well as lawyers, bailiffs, accountants, debt collection companies. Such data processors act only in accordance with the Company's instructions and legal requirements.

We may disclose your information to third parties if we determine that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with the law; (b) prevent fraud or abuse; or d) protect our proprietary rights.
IX. Your rights as data subjects
When submitting your Personal Data through our Website and in accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:
  1. The right to receive information about data processing (Articles 13 and 14 GDPR).
  2. The right to access your personal data, including the right to a copy of your personal data (Article 15 GDPR).
  3. The right to demand correction of your personal data if they are inaccurate (Article 16 GDPR).

  5. The right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data (Article 18 GDPR). This right is exercised only if at least one of the conditions specified in Article 18, Paragraph 1 of the GDPR is met.
  6. The right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR). This right is exercised only if Personal Data is processed on the basis of consent and by automated means (GDPR Article 20, Paragraph 1, Points a and b).
  7. The right to object to the processing of personal data (Article 21 GDPR).
We would like to inform you that if you do not agree with the Company's decision made regarding your request regarding the exercise of your rights as a data subject, you have the right to file a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of the Republic of Latvia (more information https://www.dvi.gov.lv/lv).
You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time (if you have given it) to process your personal data for direct marketing purposes. You can withdraw your consent at any time by submitting a free-form request by e-mail svetlana@matelab.lv . Withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of the Company's processing of Personal data based on consent until its withdrawal, i.e. the processing of Personal data for the specified purposes will be considered legal until the moment of withdrawal of consent.

X. How should you apply for the exercise of your rights?
In order to be able to exercise the rights mentioned above, you must submit a request to us in writing and in a way that allows us to identify you, that is, by confirming your identity. Requests for the exercise of rights, in the absence of an opportunity to determine the identity of the person making the request, are not processed by the Company.
All notifications related to the processing of personal data are provided:

Your requests related to the implementation of the rights of data subjects are considered for no longer than 1 (one) month. Considering the complexity of the request and the number of requests received, this period may be extended by the Company for 2 (two) months. In all cases, the Company will inform you about the extension of the deadline.
XI. How long do we keep your Personal Data?
We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless otherwise required by law.
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
